Your Brain Usage Profile

Auditory : 53%
Visual : 46%
Left : 72%
Right : 27%

Jeffery, you are mildly left-hemisphere dominant while showing a slight preference for auditory processing. This overall combination seems to indicate a well-working blend of logic and judgment and organization, with sufficient intuition, perception and creativity to balance that dominance.

You will at times experience conflict between how you feel and what you think which will generally be resolved in favor of what you think. You will find yourself interested in the practical applications of whatever material you have learned or whatever situation you face and will retain the ability to refine whatever knowledge you possess or aspects of whatever position you are in.

By and large, you will orient yourself toward intellectual activities and structure. Though not rigid, you will schedule yourself, plan, and focus on routine and continuity of operations, rather than on changes and disruptions

When changes or disruptions occur, you are likely to consider first how to ensure that such disruptions do The same balance is reflected in your sensory preference. You will tend to be reflective and measured in your interaction style. For the most part, you will be considered objective without being cold and goal-oriented while retaining the capacity to listen to others.

Preferentially you learn by listening and maintaining significant internal dialogues with yourself. Nevertheless, you have sufficient visualization capabilities to benefit from using graphs, charts, doodles, or even body movement to enhance your comprehension and memory.

To the extent that you are even implicitly aware of your hemispheric dominance and sensory style, you will feel most comfortable in those arenas which emphasize verbal skills and logic. Teaching, law, and science are those that stand out among the professions, along with technical sales and management.

I had all these thoughts floating through my head, but my journal subject pretty much sums it up. I should go study, but before I go do that...Something I saw on meira's journal that I thought was cool. Basically, you look for people that will answer questions you ask, and if they wish, will ask questions in return and get honest answers. For some reason, this approach seems to appeal to me rather than some of the other same crap floating about. Here are the questions that were asked me, and my answers...and if you'd like, ask, or take a big drop and tell me you want me to ask. ;)

Be warned, I think I'll be honest.

1) What makes you tick?

Devotion and Fear. I'm devoted to succeeding, to doing something, anything, with my life. I want to be remembered when I die. I want to be missed. Fear that I won't be. Fear that I'm flawed. I will prove the inner voice wrong. ;)
2) What is the candy you couldn't live without as a little kid?

Kinder Eggs. Little chocolately eggs of goodness that until recently haven't been in the US as far as I can tell. Hell, I still get them imported on occasion by my European contacts. =)
3) Chocolate Chip or Snickerdoodle?

I have to choose?
4) What's one thing most people (especially me) don't know about you?

Oi. This is hard. I don't precisely know what you know about me. ;) If I had to say anything, it would be that I regret and that with me, I have a habit of making things seem to be more than they are. Or that I'm a jealous person at heart, apparently. I've just learned this about myself.

Right, with that done, I should go study. Pretend I like my job. (okay, so I do, I really do.) Tonight I have to go fill up the gas tank for Bri so she can go job shopping tomorrow. *waits while she fiddles with my collar and my ass pocket to make them look right* She loves to dress me up proper. Cept when I touch her with my freezing hands of doom. As one person has said, 'Jeff's average hand temperature is colder than some dead bodies I know.'

Maybe this weekend I can convince people to go spend money with me during the early afternoon (matinee!) and get a belt, and some movie tickets to go see the 2 movies that are out that I want to see. (The Italian Job and 2F2F.)

I hope today goes by fast.

I hope next week I can get up and get my ass to school.

Were thinking about a matinee this wknd too, only we were thinking Finding Nemo. Italian Job is on the to-see list, so if you want some company, maybe we could work something out? :)
