I went into the store where I kept my locker, wondering what all I had in there. I retrieved my key from my pocket, opened the door, and then broke the key when I went to remove the key after shuffling through the books that were inside.
I took the key to the clerk who recognized the key and said he (something) it. I argued saying that no, the last time I was here, an oriental gentleman gave it to me. He concurred that the gentleman gave it to me, but added, 'Someone has to be in the back making sure the work gets done.'
It was very odd, and I wonder what it means.
