5.4, about ~260 miles from here. I've had fun wasting time looking at the earthquake website, actually (and google maps!). Neat to see earthquake 'trends' which are obviously hotspots. Didn't know the 'tail' of Alaska was quite so prone actually.

I was trying to figure out what it was at home. I was in the bathroom! I had enough time to finish washing my hands and then look out the window at the street, wondering if it was a freak bad storm or a loud truck or something. I was convinced I was imagining things until I got to work and Richard asked me if I felt it...

So. My very first earthquake.

My first (and only!) Earthquake experience was a couple years ago when I was living in Milwaukee.

... Yes, Wisconsin. D:

The cows methane affected the local geostability I'm sure.

Apparently the midwest had another quake today, which is very weird, considering the timing. (I pretty much just found out, heh)

Edit - I shouldn't be commenting on things right after I roll out of bed. My comprehension of things is apparently selective, lololol /facedesk /blush

Nothing like a good aftershock when you roll out of bed?
