Could the day go any slower? I mean, really.

Is it because I've been up for entirely too long with little sleep?

I haven't a clue, but it needs to stop. Or rather. Start.

A lot like my car.

/sigh - Broken machinery frustrates me so and I have to remember to not get mad at my car whenever I drive it these days. She's old. I need a new one. The world is not out to drive me batty!

At least the snow has settled into 'pretty' instead of 'annoying'. The real question is if the plows will have touched my street yet. I don't want much! Just..moving of the big chunks of tire sucking snow?

Valentine's day...I'm so tired of people's romantic cynicism. Just because I call a day a 'party' day doesn't mean you can't have fun. I mean, come on. It's a party. Lawd. Everyone loves people and I've yet to meet more than a handful of people who are truly alone. Mayhaps not engaged as they wish to be...but still. Make do with what you have! :P

Of course, I need to stop being a couch potato (figuratively speaking) and do some of my own motivational lovin'. Sometimes I don't know how I manage to keep friends/loved ones. I really don't. :P They stick around, so I must not be a complete waste! But still, I fret.

And that's another thing. Fretting about perfection. People should stop that too. Just enjoy a thing for what it is. It's not very difficult! Just stop trying to make it different or conform to your own..ideas. For example, 'I love snow!' Not: "Snow's never pretty in my city. The cars make it messy.' Well shoot. I hate that pesky reality bit. :P

I doubt you're as grumpy as me. Well. You might not be now, but at the time. :P

I agree with you on the crappy v-day due to non v-day reasons. And stupid people should be shot.

Re: Party day.

People dislike Christmas and Valentine's Day "because its commercialized." as if that has any impact on the meaning. They get up in arms about "anti-valentine" or "anti-christmas" as if that will buck the system or something. They're missing the point. I use my example to indicate the silly. Just because I've said I'm having a party (Christmas) doesn't mean you should come to the party refusing to have any fun (ohnoes presents!) because it's a party (christmas).
