So, I'm at work, doing my thing...

And I type something and wonder: Is this right?

Excerpt: "..I could find neither X nor Y in the system."

And suddenly, in an attack of grammar I wonder...

Should it be: "I could not find X or Y" or perhaps "I could find neither X or Y"..

Or..what.

Old age, it's getting to me. Or more accurately, in my professional communications I actually strive to seem well written.

Ah well. Back to works. With my mad grammer leet skillz.

No, they're correct. Neither is paired with nor, while either is paired with or. "I could not find X or Y" is also correct.
