why oh why would someone put that on them? Each time I've gone to get my tattoos done, I've asked myself if it's something I'll still be ok with when I'm 80 and wrinkled. I don't think I'd be able to say that if I had NES tats. But then, maybe this person will. Perhaps they'll still be gaming at 80 :) I really shouldn't be so narrow minded. It's not pretty.

Gamers have their own cultures, their own cultural identities, just like any other culture...

I admit that in many ways the culture is a lot more fluid...but it is still valid.

Perhaps they want to think about the symbolism of gaming getting old as they age, enh?! YOU NEVER KNOW.

well not that he would do that ... but my brother is an avid gamer.... and more of a collector now than anything else.... the really awesome thing about that is that its not just NES its atari and well ok now this dates me ... but the bottom was a game you could play on the PONG console even before that ... its kinda of a time line... in that much i respect it ... kinda nostalgic.... i mean it would be akin to a friend of mine who got a chell silverstine figure tattoed on her... or anyone who has a favorite something and decided to brand themselves with that instead... i think ... that even if i didnt game so to speak at 80 with that tattoo.... it would be something to share about my past with my future.... i mean grandpa what are all those silly figures on your leg... *shrugs* i dunno... i have no personal experience with tattoos as posted earlier last week

yeah mine had pong and breakaway and some pinball thing and prolly something else but i dont remember.... i loved that thing.... was only vedio game i really played.... i think i quit at frogger after eating too much highway .... and am still not into things that require hand eye corrdination ... as i have about zilch =)

And Mario holding up megaman? Oh, that's rough. I mean, the Blue Bomb is the Blue Bomb! but comparing that to fire power?

Well, it was supposed to be ink as in tatoo ink, but yes, Link is way cool. I little tweeking and a LOT of green clothing, and I think you could pull it off. :) (The bloodelf/link thing)
