My HD seems to have failed.

Blue screened with a kernel error? (didn't pay -that- much attention), which I just presumed was due to the new security updates I installed for windows and went to restart.

Upon restart I got a message about how a sector was bad on my hd, backup and such..and then after a long time of attempting to start, the damn thing blue screens and restarts in an eyeblink.

And will go no further no matter what options I choose to boot with. So, how about that new computer...

And my intestines are rebelling.

The fun, it piles up in HEAPS.

P.S. I'd forgotten how crappy this monitor was on my server. I had to plug in a mouse and kb for it. It's been a while since I've bothered to actually physically touch the machine. Needless to say, I won't have easy access to my email or any such anytime soon.

Verily, that doth sucketh

See, you shoulda stayed in Boston!

HD isn't so bad, though, if that's the only problem... they're fairly cheap these days, and you might be able to hook up your current HD as a slave to retrieve any important data. I was able to do that with my old one, even after it had died, briefly... enough to get the important stuff off. (Of course, you're smarter than me so you probably have all that backed up anyway!)

I'm sorry your return from vacation has been so poopy, though :(

Just remember this guy!

Maybe he can help?
